A tradition for ages 3, 5 and 7
Shichi-Go-San is a Japanese tradition celebrating children at ages three, five and seven. At WakaWakka Kimono, families in Los Angeles can mark this milestone through the beauty of kimono and an authentic connection to Japanese culture.
Akane Mashimo, a certified kimono instructor trained in Kyoto, brings careful attention to the dressing and styling of each child. Photography preserves the occasion, while the heart of the experience remains the kimono, the tradition, and your family’s memories.
