As both a certified kimono instructor and photographer, she understands how every detail of the kimono should look through the camera, creating portraits that are both authentic and elegant.
Fumi Mashimo carefully designs the studio lighting for each session and individually hand-retouches every selected image. Rather than relying on automated filters or batch editing, he refines each portrait with meticulous attention to detail, creating polished, natural, and timeless photographs.
